What Lakewood On Parade Is All About

Our Mission

Lakewood on Parade's mission is charitable, educational, civic, patriotic and cultural. 

We promote and encourage community spirit and citizen participation within Lakewood. 

We organize and sponsor an annual festival dedicated to a specific theme, for the enlightenment and entertainment of Lakewood's citizens by producing and presenting art, music, dance and/or theater. 

Under no circumstances will Lakewood on Parade advance the political purposes of any group or individual.

Our Goals

Organize an annual community celebration that promotes appreciation of the arts and social interaction.

Provide opportunities for volunteers to be actively involved in the celebration.

Fund our celebrations through participant fees, community donations, and/or grants. 

Provide a portion of the Lakewood on Parade proceeds to fund scholarships for deserving Lakewood residents.
